Dear Agung,
In honor of Mother's Day, I am thrilled to announce today's kickoff of "100 Days of Jobs for Moms", a free campaign to help mothers at all stages of their careers find jobs that are more family friendly! For 100 days, FlexJobs will provide dedicated job search articles, expert tips, and industry insight on its blog specifically for mothers looking to re-enter the workforce or those who are currently working but want or need more work flexibility.
100 Days of Jobs for Moms is an idea I came up with while at one of my children's school events, as I talked to yet another fellow mom who was highly educated but had chosen to leave the workforce when she had babies. At the time her employer wouldn't give her a part-time schedule, or any other type of family-friendly work flexibility, and so stuck between choosing between her job or her family, she chose her family... as 43% of women do. And now, years later, she was unsure how to approach a job search, intimidated to try, and not optimistic that she could find a good part-time or flexible job anyway.
Millions of mothers don't feel confident about getting their career back on track, and we want to help! We also want to help the moms who stayed in a traditional full-time job, but who want more flexibility and a better work-life balance. Our goal with 100 Days of Jobs for Moms is to inspire and educate moms to learn that "good jobs" do exist -- with more work flexibility than ever before -- and to provide tools to help them find jobs that fit their lives.
So if you're a mother (or know of one) considering getting back into the workforce or who is working but who wants/needs more work flexibility, please join us at 100 Days of Jobs for Moms! And please forward this email to any friends who you think might be interested!
After that, of course please read on for job searching tips, great job leads, and more! And if you decide to use the full scope of what FlexJobs offers to get a leg up in your job search, be sure to use special promo code "NEWSLETTER" to get 30% off! As always, thank you so much for allowing us to be a trusted resource in your job search for telecommuting, freelance, part-time, and any and all flexible jobs. If there's anything we can do to make your experience better, please let us know. Many cheers,

Sara, and the FlexJobs Team
