2x your sales with 'Square' Copy

Hi Agung,

When it comes to making more sales, the most important element is having solid, effective copy.

You can buy more traffic if the conversions are high enough that you are in profit… But if conversions are low then traffic can go to waste.

In order to DOUBLE sales, you do not need to double the conversions.
Here's a little math to explain, and then I'll show you the 'Square' Copy method.

Paul spends 100 a day on paid ads. And he makes 150 per day in return.

After expenses he makes about 20 in profit per ad.

After applying the Square Copy method to his ads and his landing pages…

He increases the clicks from his ads by 20% and he increases the conversion rates from his landing page by another 20%.

NOW he is spending 100 a day on paid ads and making $216 in return.

After expenses, etc, he is now making about 70 a day in profit.

That's 350% more than he was previously making, though in terms of revenue, it has increased by 44%.

Now he decides to reinvest that additional 50 a day, so he keeps 20 for himself and spends 150 a day on ads (instead of 100). He now makes 325 per day.

His new profit is 150 a day and his revenue has now more than doubled overall. His profits are up by a whopping 750% from when he started.

And this is just the beginning, now he can reinvest and scale things up higher and higher.

This is how to scale it big online and it's how myself and friends of mine have grown 7 and 8 figure online businesses.

The KEY is the copywriting.

And that's where the SQUARE copywriting method comes in.

There are many elements to writing strong copy, whether it be for your ads or landing pages, and so forth.

But there are 4 more critical elements. Think of these as like the 4 quadrants of a square.

Quadrant 1 - The Hook

You need something that grabs the attention. If people don't have their attention grabbed, they don't see or watch the rest of the copy.

This can be in the form of an attention grabbing image, or it can be in terms of words that are said.

For instance if I'm selling an information product on how to sleep better, I could use a hook like this to start the ad copy…

"Here are the 3 reasons why cats don't get insomnia…"

Or if I'm selling a physical product like headphones, then I will want to photograph them in a way that makes them look their very BEST… or in a weird setting (e.g. a cat wearing them).

Quadrant 2 - The Promise

Here is where you give at least 1 main promise that gets them to keep reading.

For example…

"Plus the number 1 solution that will have you sleeping a blissful nights sleep, even if you haven't slept more than 5 hours in the last year…"

"These noise cancelling headphones fit in your pocket, perfect for travellers and commuters"

Quadrant 3 - The big picture

Here you have the main body of your copy, you tell any story that relates to the product and you fulfil any promises (or explain how they work in the product itself).

You give the big picture overview here of what it's like to experience HAVING the product. A good way to do this is in story form, or to demonstrate in a video.

Here you'd also provide any elements of proof to support your big picture. This could be as simple as having testimonials, a demonstration, or even just the story of how it worked for one person…

…Or it could be multiple elements, such as including results from studies, including credentials of people who have made comments, or your own credentials and so forth.

Quadrant 4 - Make an offer

Here you ask them to click (if it's an ad), or you ask them to buy the product if it's a sales page.

You spell out the benefits, list less of them if it's an ad, and plenty of them if its a sales page.
And that's it.

There are other things that help intensify sales, such as guarantees, scarcity (if the offer is going away soon or price is going up), etc.

But those 4 quadrants are the absolute key.

There are so many ads and landing pages out there that break these basic but highly effective rules of SQUARE copy, so I thought I'd share those with you today.

Does your copy pass the SQUARE test?

Write those quadrants down and put them next to your laptop and use them next time you write some copy for an ad or landing page, and see how you get on.

BTW the way I got you to open this email today was using a headline that used 2 quadrants of Square Copy…

A Promise (2x your sales) and a hook ('Square' Copy). See how it's effective in action? :)

I hope you have a fantastic rest of the day!
