    | |  | |  | | Dear Agung, | | | | I live in a college town, and besides busier restaurants and more traffic, this time of year is chock-full of college graduations, commencement speeches, and lessons for young professionals just embarking on their careers. So it made me think about what career lessons have I learned that I really hold as true, and which ones I'd share with someone considering a new, better, or just different job. |  | Here are 5 of them, and hopefully they can help save someone a few stress-related headaches and moments of self-doubt! - Common sense is more important than an MBA.
- Each and every job will teach you something about what want to do (or not do).
- Your career path is more likely to be a meandering river than a straight path, and that's okay.
- Networking just to network can be more distracting than helpful.
- Place high value on a company's culture.
