Dear Agung,
Wow, it has been a big week at FlexJobs! First, and you may have noticed this already, but we launched a new version of our website... yeah!! This new and improved FlexJobs is what is called "responsive", in that it works far better on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets than our old site. And while we were at it, we also did a bunch of design and functionality improvements as well. All told, we hope you really like it!
Another very exciting piece of news is that I, as FlexJobs' CEO and Founder, have been chosen by the World Economic Forum to be a member of its Young Global Leaders class of 2014. The WEF's mission to "improve the state of the world", and I'm incredibly humbled by this amazing opportunity to participate in this goal. This honor also highlights the fact that employment and unemployment are among the top global issues, and I am proud to contribute however I can to help.
It was also International Women's Day this past week, and although it's a coincidence, I want to commend the World Economic Forum for having 51% of the 2014 Young Global Leader class include women!
After all of that bigger picture talk, now let's get back to the task at hand -- helping you find a flexible job! Please read on for some great telecommute job listings, expert job search tips, and more. As always, thank you so much for allowing us to be a trusted resource in your job search for telecommuting, freelance, part-time, and any and all flexible jobs. Many cheers,

Sara, and the FlexJobs Team

How to Negotiate Flexible Work Options
When is the right time to negotiate the option to telecommute, or to have a flexible or alternative schedule? The asnswer is nuanced, and somewhere between not too early, but not too late. How do you tell though? The best time to negotiate flexible work options is before you've taken the job. Your bargaining power will be higher before you sign on the line, and you'll have the ear of your prospective employer.
