Dear Agung,
I grew up a couple of hours away from the home of Groundhog Day, Punxsutawney, PA, and will admit to having a fondness for it (if not a certain belief in the outcome). But more than that, I really love the movie celebrating the day.
To recap, and to explain the relevance: in the 1993 classic, Bill Murray plays an arrogant TV weatherman who is assigned to cover the annual Groundhog Day event. On the job that he considers below him, he discovers that he is stuck in a time loop, repeating Groundhog Day over and over again. Eventually, he begins to reflect upon his life and determines to take the steps to make his job and his life better.
At some point during your job search, you might feel like you're stuck in a time loop also. You're churning out job applications, crafting cover letters, and... nothing. You're not hearing back from hiring managers, it seems like your job search is going nowhere, and you deserve more. But there are ways to escape the replay, just like Bill Murray was able to. Check out this great blog post on How to Get Out of Your (Groundhog Day) Job Search Rut.

3 Key Tips to Customize Your Resume
In a great guest blog post from career and workplace expert Alexandra Levit: In an era in which you can send off 100 resumes in just a few minutes, I'm always getting the question, "Do I have to customize my resume to each job application?" Sorry folks, but the answer is yes. Here are three ways to customize your resume each and every time. Hiring managers get so many resumes that they will easily discard the resumes that don't meet their specifications exactly. Fortunately, though, you don't have to reinvent the resume wheel every time you apply for a new position.
