I think that this stems from the persistent belief that jobs with work-from-home options always pay far less than in-office jobs. Well, I'm here to tell you that's just not true. |  | | While it may have been the case years ago when telecommuting was just starting, more recent at-home jobs pay salaries are comparable to what you would expect in an in-office job. Some pay less, and some even pay more... which is also generally what you would expect for different in-office jobs with different companies anyway. Overall though, there are definitely great telecommuting jobs that can allow you to earn big paychecks! (More on that later in the newsletter, too!) | | | | Also, there are substantial cost savings that can come with working from home which can help "sweeten the pot," such as a reducing commute costs, time, and stress; wardrobe and dry cleaning bills, and the coffee shop trips and eating out, among others.
