Millions of people have serious health issues in our country, and 89% said work flexibility would help them take better care of themselves and be healthier, and 65% said they would specifically exercise more.
- Work flexibility can reduce commute stress, time, and costs. A national average commute length of 50 minutes/day translates into a lot of time savings (41%) and commute-related costs and stress (45%) that many people would really like to reduce with a flexible schedule or telecommuting option.
- Work flexibility can help your relationships! From being a better friend (63%) to being a better spouse/partner/significant other (82%), a majority of folks agree that flexible jobs can benefit your personal relationships.
- And the number one reason is... Whether you're a parent or not, work-life balance is consistently the most popular reason for wanting a flexible job (79%)!
