Hi Agung, Merry Christmas! I hope that you and your family have a great time this holiday period :) In today's email I wanted to give a few quick tips for those of you who are looking to boost sales in the New Year period that comes after Christmas. Tip number 1: Run a New Year's Special If you are an affiliate, then you can always promote someone else's New Year's Special Offer… …Or if you are a product owner yourself, then New Years is the perfect excuse for running a special. They tend to go particularly well at this time of the year, and people rush in to gain some quick savings before they expire. You can do this either via paid ads, on Facebook, YouTube, etc… Or if you have a mailing list of your own, then do it via mailing the special to your list. 3 or 4 emails is ideal, one to let them know it's coming, another to announce it on the day, another in the middle of the special and another when it's closing. Tip number 2: Remember the types of resolutions people have Offers to do with Astrology, Numerology, Health/Fitness and Personal Development, tend to be the ones that perform the best in the New Year. People set resolutions that they want to achieve certain goals… …So seeing a special that might help them to achieve those goals is a great way to kick off the year, hence sales conversions are even higher than usual. Tip number 3: Retarget If you send people to a page on your own site to run the special, then you can drop a pixel for either Facebook, Google, Adroll or something else… …Then you can run retargeting ads until the special has concluded. The greatly improves the effectiveness of the New Years sale. == I hope you enjoyed those 3 ways to boost New Years sales. Not long till Christmas now, I've done my shopping, and am almost finished wrapping presents… Are you? My 3 boys (aged 2, 9 and 10) are all very excited. My 2 year old has picked up on the Christmas spirit and very confidently asked Santa for a train :) Best wishes for a happy and joyous holiday season. Talk soon! Kind regards, |
