Dear Agung,
I'm lucky enough to work from home entirely, but there were times in my career when I wouldn't have wanted that. For example, in my twenties I loved the social aspects of being in the office with my co-workers, such as discussing last night's Ally McBeal episode, flirting with the cute guy in marketing, or meeting out for a drink after work. It was fun and, to be honest, I welcomed the distractions.
Now that I'm almost quite a ways into my career, am a wife and working mother of two, and just plain have far fewer hours in the day than I need, I no longer need or want those social distractions. Instead, I -- like millions of people -- want work flexibility, and working from my home office allows me to be way more focused and productive than if I were in an office with a ton of other people.
That's why it really makes me cringe when I see how people who work from home are represented in pictures. If you don't know what I mean, check out our blog post on the 10 Worst Work From Home Stock Photos. From juggling babies in your lap while typing to working in a field of flowers, these pictures highlight the opposite of how to be successful working from home. But they are pretty funny.
As you look for your own telecommuting or flexible work option jobs, thank you for trusting us to help you in your job search! If there's anything we can do to make your experience better, please let us know. Many cheers,

Sara, and the FlexJobs Team
